My Courage Day
I've showed courage many time's and in many ways, but one of my favorite times was very recently in my Hari Raya break in 2010. Here's my story...

My family had gone on a vacation to a beach resort near Langkawi in Malaysia called Taj (the island was Berak)     My dad, sister and i decited to go scuba diving leaving my brother and my mom at the resort. We left the island where we stayed with a small boat, toke a can to a deck where we waited and rested there for a bigger air conditioned boat that would take us near a small island. We would stay in the boat on the water. This is the part where my courage kicked in...

The instructors had divided the people who had there licence in diving and who were doing a intro dive. Unlike my my dad and sister already had their licence in diving , so we weren't supposed to dive together, luckily the instructors let us dive together . The instructor just was by my side. There are 4-5 divers in one group, so my sister, dad, the instructor and I all dived together as a group. Our plan for the day was 20-35 mins dive before lunch then for the licensed divers another dive after lunch. We had lunch at the small beach part on the island. If i was good enough on the first dive then I could go on the second dive after lunch as well as the first one. There were many people on the boat but most of them were doing snorkeling.

Now this toke lots of courage because not only was this my first time diving, I was also the youngest diver from all that were doing diving and Intro diving. Not only did those things scare me but four out of six grown ups canceled their dive because they were to scared. They ended up doing snorkeling. But in the end it was all worth it, I'm putting scuba diving on my To Do list. :)

  1. That's really cool! But you had some spelling errors. Like for instance, Took. You spelled it toke. Also, license in the third paragraph. You got it right in the second to last paragraph!
    I really liked it!

  2. I agree with you, that takes a lot of courage! Yes, there are a few spelling mistakes but the story was great. The story was fun and exciting to read, especially since I'm too scared to go scuba diving and I wanted to see what happens in your story. I have learned that you are very adventurous and that you will always remember that day you went scuba diving the first time! Great Job!!

  3. That was a great story but if you didn't go scuba diving, how would that show courage? I liked your voice and sentence fluency. You might want to read over your blogs before you post them! You had a couple spelling and grammar errors. But other than that, it was great!
